In a thrilling season, Red Panda FC have lifted the crown of the champions of B-Division S-League 2024-25 season, gaining promotion with an undefeated season amassing 25 points. Giving chase was Northerners FC garnering 18 points, who secured the second promotion berth to the Sikkim Premier League 2025-26 season.
The Special Guest for today’s match was Delay Namgyal Barfungpa, MLA Gangtok Constituency with Guest of Honour Kuber Bhandari, President Sikkim Olympic Association and Special Guest R.B. Biswakarma, Additional Director Sports & Youth Affairs Department and General Secretary Sikkim Boxing Association.
In concluding day of the league saw Red Panda FC take on Denzong Boyz FC.
The game saw undefeated champion of the league Red Panda FC take 5-1 victory against Denzong Boyz FC.
The goal scorers for the winning team were a hattrick from Kunzaman and a brace by Ram Kazi Chettri. The consolation goal for Denzong Boyz FC was scored by Sujal Chettri.
The Golden Glove Award for the League was presented to Red Panda FC custodian Inchen Dorjee Tamang, who had 5 clean sheets to his name.
The Golden Boot Award was given to Red Panda FC Playmaker Kunjaman Thapa for amassing a total of 13 goals, having scored 3 goals in the last game, overtaking Karma Topden Bhutia from Northerners FC scoring a total of 12 goals.
The newly promoted teams now shall play in the following Sikkim Premier League 2025-26 season slated to take place as the first calendar League for SFA for the footballing year 2025-26 in June.
Cash prize Rs. 1,00,000 with trophy was awarded to the winners.
