The inauguration of the Tree Library-cum-Silence Reading space at Khechuperi Senior Secondary School was a remarkable and momentous occasion, symbolizing a new dawn of knowledge and community engagement.

In her speech, Mrs. Yishey D. Yongda praised the visionary efforts of Khechuperi Senior Secondary School in creating a peaceful haven for reading. She emphasized that this initiative would ignite the spirit of learning, not only among students but also within the wider community.
Mrs. Bhutia highlighted the significance of the Gyalshing District Reads initiative, lauding it as a pillar of intellectual growth and a model for surrounding schools. The event also celebrated the successful conclusion of the Sampoornata Abhiyan, which had transformed the Aspirations Block Chongrang under the Yuksam Tashiding Constituency. During the closing ceremony, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and local entrepreneurs were felicitated for their remarkable contributions to the community’s progress.
