GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang-Golay met with Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Dispur on September 1. The leaders discussed various initiatives to enhance development and progress in the northeastern region.

“This gesture reflects the strong ties between Sikkim and Assam and aims to provide better healthcare access for those facing serious health issues, ensuring they receive top-quality care within the region”, shared Chief Minister Tamang. Furthermore, the Chief Minister invited Dr. Sarma to visit Sikkim, an invitation that was warmly accepted. Dr. Sarma expressed his intention to visit Sikkim, tentatively planning his trip for later this year.
