GANGTOK: Indra Hang Subba, Member of Parliament from Sikkim, met with Prataprao Jadav, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of AYUSH and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on September 26 to discuss Sikkim’s progress in the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes related to the health and wellness sectors.
During the meeting, Subba apprised the Minister of the State’s success in effectively implementing various central schemes under the Ministry of AYUSH. He also highlighted the proactive role played by the Sikkim government and the Chief Minister’s Office in facilitating medical treatment for Sikkimese patients, both within and outside the State, ensuring better healthcare accessibility for all, a press release informs.
Subba further emphasized that Sikkim, known for its pristine environment and cleanliness, is an ideal location for the establishment of wellness centers and the promotion of AYUSH practices.
