PAKYONG: The District Hub for Empowerment of Women Pakyong, in collaboration with the One Stop Centre and the Women & Child Development Department Pakyong District, organised a one-day awareness programme on legal aid and counsel in Namchebong GPU today.
Advocate Ledong Rinzing Lepcha graced the event as the resource person and provided a comprehensive overview of the history and provisions of the POSH Act, OSC, Women Help Line, and various other laws. The event delved into topics such as the detrimental effects of gender inequality, complaint committees, sexual violence, and more.

Also present in the programme were Dikit Lepcha, deputy director/SWO, along with panchayat members and the general public.
The District Hub for Empowerment of Women received positive feedback from all panchayat members, staff, and the public during the event.
