The music video “Eh Kanchi” was officially released

The music video “Eh Kanchi” was officially released on Wednesday during a grand launch programme held at a hotel in Gangtok. The event was attended by dignitaries, artists, and well-wishers from across Sikkim.
Produced by Tapashree Production in association with BKR Production, the music video highlights the talent of local artists. The song is sung by Trishala Gurung and Raiba, while the video features Nitesh Gurung, Kritika Pradhan, Komal Gurung, and Aadarsh Pradhan in lead roles.
The programme was graced by Jacob Khaling Rai, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Khaling congratulated the team behind “Eh Kanchi” and praised the dedication of the producers, singers, actors, and technicians. He emphasized the role of music and visual storytelling in preserving culture and reflecting societal aspirations.
Speaking on behalf of Sikkim’s artist fraternity, Khaling thanked Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang for the various welfare initiatives undertaken for artists, stating that government support has encouraged local talent to pursue creative aspirations with confidence. He also urged artists to continue producing meaningful works that document contemporary life and culture for future generations.
Producer Komal Gurung expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) and Jacob Khaling for their continued support and encouragement of the artistic community. The programme concluded with the official release of the music video and best wishes for its success among audiences within and beyond the state.
