GANGTOK: Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) from Sikkim, Indra Hang Subba, is currently in New Delhi ahead of the winter session of Parliament, which is set to begin on Monday.
Today, Subba participated in a meeting with the floor leaders of political parties in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, where he represented the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM). The meeting, aimed at discussing important parliamentary matters, was chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, with Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, also in attendance.
Ahead of the winter session, the Lok Sabha MP from Sikkim reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the promises made during his election campaign earlier this year. As the representative of Sikkim in Parliament, Subba emphasized his focus on raising critical issues concerning the state during the upcoming session. He also plans to follow up on the commitments made by Central leaders and ministries in response to his questions during the monsoon and budget sessions held earlier in the year.
Guided by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay, Subba remains steadfast in advocating for Sikkim’s rightful share of resources and support. He reiterated his dedication to serving the people of Sikkim and ensuring that their voices are heard in the national Parliament, according to a press release from his office.
