Dr. Shova Kanti Thegim Memorial Award for Prabin Khaling

Litterateur & journalist Pravin Khaling has been selected for the prestigious Dr. Shova Kanti Thegim (Lepcha) Memorial Award for the year 2025. He will receive the literary award for his Nepali essay collection Chiyaa Guff which was published in 2023.
The award ceremony will take place on July 4 in Gangtok, coinciding with the birth anniversary celebration of Dr. Shova Kanti Thegim (Lepcha).
Khaling will be presented with a cash prize of Rs 50,001, a Tamra Patra, and a certificate in recognition of his literary contribution. He hails from Gangtok.
